To report copyright infringement on Cosmixxology, send a DMCA notice to our designated agent. We have registered our agent with the U.S. Copyright Office as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2) — search the directory at copyright.gov/dmca-directory.

To be effective, your notice must include:

1. An electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf;

3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information sufficient for us to locate it (a URL is best);
4. Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email;
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

False or abusive notices may incur liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. It must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature;
2. Identification of the material removed and the location it appeared before removal;
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
4. Your name, address, and telephone number;
5. A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or for any judicial district in which we may be found if your address is outside the United States, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.

We will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
